Marcon are proud to achieve recertification to ISO 45001, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 following a rigorous 7-day audit process.
The recertification process, which took place from May 13 to May 15, overseen by accredited auditors SCS Ltd, involved a comprehensive evaluation of Marcon’s management systems, policies, and practices. From stringent safety protocols to meticulous quality control measures and sustainable environmental initiatives, we demonstrated adherence to the highest standards across all areas of operation.
The auditors stated that over the past three years of their involvement with our company, they have witnessed firsthand how effectively our system has been improved and fully integrated into all business operations, commenting “Marcon have shown outstanding adherence that not only meets the minimum requirements but also exceeds expectations in terms of fulfilling these standards and protocols. They have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to upholding and even raising the bar for standards related to quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety within their organization.”
Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety: ISO 45001
ISO 45001 is the international standard for occupational health and safety management systems, designed to improve employee safety, reduce workplace risks, and create better, safer working conditions. During the audit, SCS Ltd. assessed Marcon’s risk management processes, emergency preparedness, and incident reporting mechanisms. The auditors noted Marcon’s proactive approach to identifying potential hazards and implementing preventive measures. Additionally, employee training programs and engagement in safety initiatives were highlighted as exemplary practices.

ISO 9001 is the global benchmark for quality management systems, ensuring that organizations consistently provide services that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Marcon’s recertification in ISO 9001 reflects our commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and continuous improvement.
The audit process included a comprehensive review of our quality management policies, procedures, and performance metrics. SCS Ltd. auditors examined our approach to customer satisfaction, quality control, and process optimization. Our robust system for tracking and analyzing customer feedback was particularly praised, demonstrating a strong focus on meeting and exceeding customer expectations.
Environmental Responsibility: ISO 14001
ISO 14001 specifies the requirements for an effective environmental management system (EMS). Achieving recertification in ISO 14001 underscores our commitment to minimizing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices.
The audit by SCS Ltd. involved a detailed evaluation of environmental policies, waste management practices, and resource conservation efforts. The auditors commended us for our initiatives to reduce energy consumption through the installation of solar panels at head office and workshop roofs, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and enhance recycling programs. Furthermore, the company’s compliance with environmental regulations and its efforts to engage stakeholders in environmental sustainability were recognized as best practices.
