Marcon delivered the bespoke fit out of a new heritage room at the Europa Hotel in Belfast to celebrate their 50-year anniversary.
The exhibition tells the story of the joy, challenges and hope the hotel has faced over the last five decades.
During the troubles the hotel was considered the “most bombed hotel in the world” after having suffered 36 bomb attacks. Despite these challenges and setbacks, the Europa continues to stand proud to become the elegant and chic hotel it is today, thriving with prestigious events, conferences, and tourism.
Positioned in a prominent location within the hotel lobby, the heritage room will allow visitors to immerse themselves in the history of this Belfast icon.
Marcon’s scope of works incorporated; Backlit Europa signage; bench seating; 5 metre wide by 4 metre height bespoke grid wall structure to house the interpretive exhibition, which included graphics, audio visual; weighted turnstile panels; glazed vitrines for display of artefacts and diorama viewing panel.
